Non-living things are things that are not alive. They do not need food, water, shelter, air, or space to live.

Does the desk breathe? No it does not.                                     Does the broom eat? No it does not.
             Does the desk move?    No it does not.                                      Does the broom need water? No it does not.




Remember, non-living things do not need food, water, air, or shelter.
Non-living things cannot move, change, grow, or breathe.
